On August 22, as part of the President's official visit to Uzbekistan, a business forum between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan was held in Tashkent.

The forum featured speeches by Mikayil Jabbarov, the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, and Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan. Discussions focused on increasing trade volume, exchanging experiences, and establishing new partnership relations among business representatives.

The event was attended by around 300 entrepreneurs from both sides, as well as officials from various sectors, including construction, industry, agriculture, automotive, transportation and logistics, healthcare, tourism, and others.

Vüqar Abbasov, the Chairman of the Nakhchivan Confederation of Entrepreneurs and Vice President of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs, also participated in the event.
