On April 6, a meeting was held at the Nakhchivan Main Customs Office with members of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, participants in foreign trade, and customs representatives.

Vüqar Aliyev, the head of the Nakhchivan Main Customs Office and General-Major of the Customs Service, provided information on the recent improvements and innovations implemented in the customs system. He noted that the implementation of automated risk management systems in customs control, the acceleration of the border crossing processes for goods and vehicles, the creation of favorable conditions for individuals who voluntarily comply with customs regulations, and the reduction of official-citizen interaction to a minimum have significantly enhanced transparency, creating important opportunities for stimulating foreign trade activities.

Vüqar Abbasov, the chairman of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, emphasized that the reforms aimed at improving the level and quality of services in the customs system have positively contributed to the activities of the private sector.

The meeting also provided information to participants about the "Customs DEVELOPMENT Model," the "Smart-Bot" mobile application, as well as ongoing and planned projects.

At the end of the meeting, the entrepreneurs' suggestions and opinions were heard, and their questions of interest were answered.
