The 5th Congress of the National Confederation of entrepreneurs (employers) organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AEC) has been held.

Before the event, the congress participants visited the tomb of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honors and laid a wreath at his monument. The participants of the congress, who came to the Alley of Martyrs, paid tribute to the memory of our heroes who died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and laid a wreath at the Eternal Torch monument. Then AEC President Mammad Musayev declared the congress open and the congress began with the Azerbaijani national anthem. It was noted that as part of the state support system for entrepreneurship, preferential lending for investment projects, creation of industrial parks and neighborhoods, agricultural parks, business incubators, organization of export missions and other measures are important to ensure sustainable development of entrepreneurship and increase the share of the private sector in the economy. plays a role. As a result of targeted measures, the share of the private sector has increased to about 84 percent of GDP and 76 percent of employment.

Chairman of the Turkish-Azerbaijani Business Council (SSC) Selcuk Akat, President of the Georgian Employers’ Association Elguca Meladze and Vice President of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIPP) Vyacheslav Pshenichnikov also addressed the congress and wished success to the congress.

Then the report of the President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev was heard. It was noted that the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan is actively involved in the implementation of all decisions and programs aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and development of the national economy in the country. At present, the confederation includes more than 6,000 business entities, including about 70 economic and social associations, holdings, unions, unions and non-governmental organizations, large companies, banks, insurance companies and groups. Mammad Musayev informed the participants about the work done by the confederation since the previous congress.
