Abbasov Vugar Zakir oglu was born on April 12, 1974, in Nakhchivan city. He attended secondary school N7 in Nakhchivan city from 1981 till 1991 and graduated with a red certificate. He studied at Nakhchivan State University from 1991 till 1996 and graduated accounting, control and analysis of economic activity speciality of the faculty of Economy with a red diploma. He graduated Law speciality of Economy-Law faculty of Nakhchivan State University with a red diploma in 1998-2001. He is a candidate for a degree of the Economy Institute of ANAS since 2008. He received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on economics by defending “The development of entrepreneurship in regional conditions” doctoral thesis in 2015. He is the author of more than ten scientific articles. He attended a number of international conferences and he has been the organizer, participant and leader of many social and business projects. He is the founder and president of “Cahan Holding” since 1995. He is the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic since 2014.
